Ampeg BassAmp Series BA112 50 Watt 1×12 Solid State Bass Combo Amplifier
When my brother’s old practice amp broke down (it was way older than me), I thought I had to get myself a brand new one that would last longer. And of course, it must not cost me a ton of me. My friends recommended me this Ampeg amplifier and yeah, it rocks! The sound quality and the volume were very, very cool. It lived to its name, I never had my base guitar sound solid before during rehearsals. The five presets and the 3-Band EQ gave me just the right tone I wanted to hear.
Besides the sound quality, the structure itself suited me well. Ampeg was good at creating this innovative style. It was small and lightweight, portable whenever we want to go for a gig. What I have back home is a black one, solid as it sounded. The knobs were in cool design, too. It had a tilt-back, monitor-type enclosure that makes it suitable on studio or on stage. It could stand as a good stage monitor.
My brother even liked it when I brought it home. He borrowed it only once yet he thought it was the best bass amp he has tried so far. He could enjoy the rhythm of his play with an MP3 or CD player and I saw him one time in “silent-running mode”. He has plugged in headphones and was jamming wild by himself.
I had no regrets I took this bass amp from the shop. I had a quality amp at my hand at a low cost. Sounds were solid good gig after gig. Rehearsals were seemingly real live performances. I can say this Ampeg Bass Amp series is the tone for the game. And like my bass guitar, it rocks!
